Ingredients:
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- ¼ c. chopped onion
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 egg
- ½ c. bread crumbs
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 1 ½ lb. hamburger
Preparation:
- Brown onion in melted butter. Cool slightly.
- Beat together 1/3 c. undiluted soup and egg.
- Stir in bread crumbs and salt. Let sit 5 minutes.
- Add onion and beef and mix well.
- Shape in 6 ½ inch patties.
- Place in lightly greased pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350 ˚F.
- Drain off fat.
- Blend together remaining soup and water, pour over patties. Bake additional 10 minutes.
