Ingredients:
- 1 lb. beef chunks
- 6 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 3 Tbsp. molasses
- 1 c. water
- 2 cans Chinese vegetables
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- ¼ c. water
- Chinese noodles (chow mein noodles)
- Rice – prepared per package directions.
Preparation:
- Brown meat. Add soy sauce and molasses. Simmer 2 minutes.
- Add 1 cup water, simmer until meat is tender.
- Add Chinese vegetables. Heat thoroughly.
- Blend cornstarch and ¼ c. water. Add to meat mixture. Stir until thickened.
- Serve over rice – top with Chinese noodles.
