Caramel Corn

Ingredients:
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 sticks butter
  • ½ c. light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. butter flavoring
  • Popcorn (popped)

Preparation:
  1. Bring sugar, butter, syrup and salt to a boil
  2. Boil slowly for 5 minutes
  3. Add soda and butter flavoring ( mixture will turn foamy)
  4. Pour over popcorn.
  5. Spread on cookie sheet and bake at 200 ˚F for 30 minutes – stir every fifteen minutes.
