Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients:
  • 1 round steak – pounded
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 4 Tbsp. shortening
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tsp. mustard
  • 1 sliced onion
  • 1 – 8 oz. carton sour cream
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • Noodles

Preparation:
  1. Cut meat in 2 inch strips.  Salt, pepper and flour. Brown in ½ shortening.  Add onions
  2. Add remaining shortening – stir in flour.
  3. Slowly stir in bouillon – dissolved in 2 cups hot water.
  4. Cook until thick and smooth. 
  5. Stir in mustard and sour cream.
  6. Cover and simmer until tender – do not boil.
  7. Server over noodles.
