Ingredients:
- 4 c. cooked rice
- 8 slices bacon, chopped (1 pkg; 1 lb)
- 1/3 heaping c. sugar
- 1/3 heaping c. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
- 2 Tbsp. chopped pimento
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
- ½ tsp. celery seed
- ½ tsp. salt
Preparation:
- Cook rice according to pkg. directions.
- Cook bacon until crisp, drain (save oil) and crumble.
- Combine ¼ c. bacon drippings and all ingredients except bacon.
- Heat and stir until liquid is absorbed and mixture is hot.
- Add bacon.
- Serve hot.
