Ingredients:
- 2 boxes lasagna noodles
- ¼ c. oil
- Swiss & Mozzarella Cheese Slices (can use grated Mozzarella Cheese)
Sauce:
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ green pepper (chopped)
- 2 tsp. oregano
- 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
- 2 cans (16 oz each) petite diced tomatoes
- 2/3 c. mushrooms
- 2 tsp. Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp. crushed red pepper
Preparation:
- Cook noodles in oil.
- Brown meat. Add onion and green pepper. Saute until tender.
- In large pan combine tomatoes and remaining ingredients. Add meat mixture.
- Simmer for 30 minutes to 3 hrs.
- Arrange in 9X13 casserole dishes- layering sauce, noodles, cheese, repeat. End with sauce.
- Bake at 350˚F for 30 minutes.
