Lasagna


Ingredients:
  • 2 boxes lasagna noodles
  • ¼ c. oil
  • Swiss & Mozzarella Cheese Slices (can use grated Mozzarella Cheese)
Sauce:
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ green pepper (chopped)
  • 2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
  • 2 cans (16 oz each) petite diced tomatoes
  • 2/3 c. mushrooms
  • 2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp. crushed red pepper

Preparation:
  1. Cook noodles in oil.
  2. Brown meat. Add onion and green pepper. Saute until tender.
  3. In large pan combine tomatoes and remaining ingredients. Add meat mixture.
  4. Simmer for 30 minutes to 3 hrs.
  5. Arrange in 9X13 casserole dishes- layering sauce, noodles, cheese, repeat. End with sauce.
  6. Bake at 350˚F for 30 minutes.
