Ingredients:
- 1 ½ lb ground beef, browned and drained
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. diced celery
- 1 tsp. pepper
- ½ tsp. salt
- 5 Tbsp. beef boullion
- 1 c. shredded carrots
- 1 c. shredded potatoes
- 1 can drained peas
- ½ c. flour
Preparation:
- Simmer onions, carrots, potatoes, and celery in 2 quarts water until partly cooked.
- Drain and reserve liquid.
- Melt butter in pan used to brown meat. Remove from heat and blend in flour to make smooth paste.
- Gradually mix in water (use liquid from veg. & enough to equal 2 qts.) stirring until paste is smoothly mixed.
- Combine all ingredients and cook until thoroughly heated.
