Ingredients:
- 2 – 3 oz pkg. orange jello
- 1 – 20 oz can crushed pineapple – drain and save juice
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
- 1 – 8 oz pkg. softened cream cheese
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- ¾ c. sugar
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 – 8 oz pkg. cool whip
Preparation:
- Prepare jello – chill until congeals.
- Add drained pineapple. Pour into 13 x 9 pan. Sprinkle with ½ c walnuts, chill until set.
- Whip cream cheese and fold in cool whip. Spread over jello – cover and chill.
- Add enough water to pineapple juice to make 1 cup. Combine rest of ingredients and add juice.
- Cook over low heat until thick, stirring constantly.
- Chill thoroughly - when cool spread mixture over cream cheese mixture and sprinkle with remaining walnuts.
