INGREDIENTS:
- 3 c. flour
- ½ tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 ¼ c. Crisco shortening
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 5 Tbsp. water
PREPARATION:
- Blend shortening and dry ingredients (use fork to cut them together).
- Add mixture of egg, water, and vinegar, using hands to mix together. Handle as little as possible.
- Roll dough out between 2 sheets wax paper.
- Makes 2 8-10” pie crusts or tops 9X13 pot pie.
