Never Fail Crust

INGREDIENTS:
  • 3 c. flour
  • ½ tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 ¼ c. Crisco shortening
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 5 Tbsp. water

PREPARATION:
  1. Blend shortening and dry ingredients (use fork to cut them together).
  2. Add mixture of egg, water, and vinegar, using hands to mix together. Handle as little as possible.
  3. Roll dough out between 2 sheets wax paper.
  4. Makes 2 8-10” pie crusts or tops 9X13 pot pie.
