Broccoli Cheese Soup

Ingredients: 
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • ½ c. onion-chopped
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 pkg. Lipton Noodle Soup Mix
  • 10 oz. pkg. frozen broccoli, thawed and drained
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 lb. American cheese, shredded
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1/8-1/4 tsp. garlic powder (to taste)

Preparation:
  1. Saute onion in oil. Add water. Bring to a boil.
  2. Add soup mix and simmer for 4 minutes.
  3. Add broccoli and cook for 4 minutes.
  4. Add milk, cheese pepper, and garlic powder. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until cheese melts.
Serves 4 to 6.
